Esta fue una de las iglesias coloniales costruidas con un estilo espanol en el resguardo indigena de Vitonco.Pero como bien se sabe en 1994 el terrremoto nos sacudio sin darnos cuenta. Pero lo importante es que por mas que pasen los anos; seguira haciendo historia para los vitonquenos.
